Wow this was the hardest project of the term. It is definitely hard to create a design that expresses you as a person,  but also you as a person in the professional world. To start this project off, I asked a few of the people who know me best, to describe me in 5 words. Then from that list I found the words that were repeated, which were: joyful, funny, mischievous, and energetic. Now incorporating these into a letter head was pretty difficult, but as I created more thumbnails it became a little easier, but harder at the same time, because I found different was to modify the designs into something new, but then after that I had to come up with something new. How ever the letter head I created was actually when I was putting a border around my initials, and I looked at it, then realized it looked like my initials. I have to say this was my favorite design I created, out of the 75 thumbnails, and I’m glad it worked so well to express me. I like how it looks like and organic shape at first, but then when you closer at it more closely you can see the letter forms of an “a” and a “b” emerge. I next incorporated i polka doted back ground to keep the letterhead a negative space so it stands out. I chose to use 2 colors, because 1 wasnt enough to express me, and 3 colors seemed like to much was going on. I chose blue and lime green, which go well together, and express me because they are my 2 favorite colors. I’m glad I picked this design because I can use it in the professional world, as a medical illustrator.
